Islands Night 2024 tickets available

Free tickets for the 31st annual Sam Bailey’s Islands Night at Hammond Stadium on Wednesday, April 17, are now available at the SanCap Chamber Visitor Center and locations throughout the islands, including Homerun Sponsor Bank of the Islands.

Sanibel Captiva Community Bank weigh in as Triple Level Sponsor. The chamber is seeking additional sponsors for Islands Night, in combination with the chamber annual meeting on May 15. Sponsorships are still available on three levels: Triple ($3,500; only two sponsorships remain), Double ($2,500), and Single ($1,500). Sponsorship benefits include unlimited game tickets, a spot in the parade, and various degrees of publicity, depending on level of sponsorship. Sponsorship donations support the Islands Night tradition and benefit island charities.

As has been tradition for Islands Night at Hammond Stadium in Fort Myers, a parade showcasing businesses and organizations from Sanibel and Captiva islands precedes the game starting at 6:10 p.m. (Admission gates open at 6 p.m.) At 7 p.m., the Minor League Baseball game starts, pitting the Florida State League Fort Myers Mighty Mussels against the Jupiter Hammerheads.

“Islands Night is a time to bring islanders together for fun, promotion, community support, and camaraderie in celebration of the winding down of a busy season,” said John Lai, SanCap Chamber president and CEO. “It honors the late Sam Bailey, a former athlete and island pioneer who started the tradition more than 30 years ago.”

Other locations where islanders can pick up free Islands Night tickets include Adventures in Paradise Outfitters, Doc Ford’s Rum Bar & Grille, Huxters Market & Deli, Island Pizza, Jerry’s Foods, Macintosh Books + Papers, The Magic Bus, Pinocchio’s Original Italian Ice Cream, Sanibel Café, Sanibel Deli, SCCF, The Shack, and Whitney’s Bait & Tackle.
