Sanibel Island, FLA (January 23, 2014) – The Sanibel Captiva Chamber of Commerce held a Ribbon Cutting for the new Sanibel Island Golf Club on January 22, 2014.
Sanibel Island Golf Club, formerly known as Beachview Golf Club, is a semi-private, 18-hole par 70 championship golf course that wraps around the scenic beauty of the Sanibel River. It also offers award winning state of the art Hydro-Grid Tennis Courts.
Co-Owners Drew Donnelly and Ed Lockard welcomed guests to the beautiful new grounds and new clubhouse. “Sanibel Island Golf Club is truly an oasis for the serious golfer, creating a perfect environment for shotmakers and new golfers alike,” said Ed Lockard. “We are delighted to be able to showcase the new grounds to Sanibel and Captiva business owners through this Chamber Ribbon Cutting,” said co-owner Drew Donnelly.
“We welcome Sanibel Island Golf Club as our newest Chamber Golf Club member,” said Ric Base, President of the Chamber of Commerce.
