Very Important: When producing full page bleed ads, leave a 1/4″ inside trim for live area and leave a 1/4″ bleed outside trim*. Only full page ads may bleed. All display Ads due November 4th. 2 Page Spreads: Should be given on CD as two individual pages using the full page dimensions and accounting for the gutter.

Mechanical Requirements:
  • ELECTRONIC FILES ARE REQUIRED!  We need a copy of EVERY support file used in creating your ad (graphics/fonts) including EPS and TIFF files. TIFF files should be at high resolution. We generally scan photographs at 300 dpi and line art at a minimum of 800 ppi.
  • FONTS: Postscript fonts are preferred. You must send copies of ALL screen and printer fonts used in your advertisement, as well as fonts used in placed graphics.
  • COLOR: Pantone Process Color Imaging Guide should always be used when selecting colors. All colors must be CMYK.
  • ACCEPTABLE PROGRAMS: Adobe Illustrator up to version CS Adobe Photoshop up to version CS Adobe InDesign up to version CS Adobe PageMaker up to version 7.0 Quark Xpress up to version 6.0 Macromedia Freehand up to version 10
  • FILE STORAGE: CD Rom Zip or Jaz disks Syquest 5.25″ 44mb, 88mb or 200mb 3.5″ Floppy disks
  • PROOFS: All ads submitted must have a color proof hard copy of the file for verification purposes.
