Sanibel, FL (Dec 23, 2014) – The Sanibel & Captiva Islands Chamber of Commerce celebrated the one year anniversary of the popular and whimsical children’s store, Ickle Pickle, with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday, December 17.

Ickle Pickle’s owner, Joelle Ziemian, and her four year old daughter, Alina Ziemian, gracefully greeted people and showed them around the store’s colorful stock. Ickle Pickle carries clothes from newborn to girls 10 and boys 12 and an assortment of toys and award winning children’s books. Ickle Pickle’s organic clothing lines carry designers such as Pink Chick, Par Deux, Poppy’s, the Snapping Turtle, and Stella Cove- made both in Europe and here in the US.

Modeling a dress from Poppy’s English clothing line, where every dress tells a story and comes with a book, Ziemian cheerfully expressed appreciation for the success of her business. “The business and local community have been so supportive. Coming from all over the world, it is truly a joy being able to serve such a diverse clientele.” Ziemian’s store also supplies toys made from natural materials, with a focus on creative and imaginary play.

Ickle Pickle is located at 2427 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel, FL. Normal business hours are 11am-5pm Monday through Saturday. For more information please call Ickle Pickle at 239-472-2300 or visit http://icklepickle.me/
