Government Affair Committee
An integral component of the Chamber’s mission is to communicate the views of the business community to our elected officials and community. The Government Affairs Committee (GAC) identifies, prioritizes and recommends policy to our Board of Directors for those issues that affect our local economy, business environment and our quality of life on Sanibel and Captiva. The committee Chair is Robert Monk, Esq and the committee is composed of chamber members who volunteered to participate. The committee is open to all chamber members who wish to contribute. A liaison from Sanibel City Council also attends these meeting which are held monthly.
