Sanibel Florida (May 19, 2014) – The Sanibel Captiva Chamber of Commerce held a Ribbon Cutting to welcome Island Time Dolphin & Shelling Cruises – the custom charter firm based out of Fort Myers Beach, on Wednesday May 14, 2014.
Island Time owner, Captain Jessica DeGraw, who is U.S.C.G. Licensed and insured, has been in business for over a year with a successful private charter business. The private custom charters include dolphin tours, sunset cruises, shelling excursions, eco and historical tours and outer island lunch trips.
DeGraw invested in a beautiful 26’ World Cat just over a year ago, the boat is specially designed to cruise comfortably in the shallow waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The boat is equipped with a bimini top on the back half of the boat, allowing for a choice of sun or shade. There is also a restroom on board and a fresh water shower – perfect for rinsing off after shelling on the beach Captain Jessica is no stranger to the southwest Florida area. She was born in Maryland, but spent her childhood growing up on Sanibel Island. Captain Jessica’s love for the outdoors, specifically the water and fishing, led her to obtain her Captains License. Her extensive experience, knowledge, and enthusiasm for the waters of Southwest Florida ensures you to have the best possible experience on your private charter. She holds a U.S.C.G. Master Captains License with sailing and towing endorsements. Captain Jessica also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Florida Gulf Coast University.
